When I call to check up on my application at a job how come jobs always tell me they are not hiring?

Save yourself time and ask if places are hiring before you do the application. If they say "no, but we will keep it on file for 90 days" don't waste your time. By the time 90 days is up they will have a fat stack of applications and probably end up throwing yours out. Look for places that have a sign in the window or ad in the newspaper. Your best bet is to go in and talk to a manager that needs people ASAP, not somewhere down the line. 1 day ago Yea what I normally do however, ppl here in my state never have now hiring in there window its so hard to come by now a days, but thanks!!
